James (Jim) Reilly, of Lower Point Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 25th, 2026, surrounded by the love and support of his family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Ethna in August 2024, Jim was the cherished father of Ann, Mary, and Pauline, and a dear father-in-law to Larry. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his heartbroken family, his sister-in-law, extended family, neighbours, and many friends whose lives were enriched by his kindness, warmth, and gentle presence.

Funeral Details:
Jim will repose at his home (A91 Y5X4) on Saturday evening, June 27th, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.

Removal will take place on Sunday afternoon, June 28th, to St. Brigid’s Church, Kilcurry, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2:00pm, followed by burial in Kilcurry Cemetery (A91 RP73). All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals.

Julia Heeney, of Hill of Rath, Tullyallen, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Larrix Street, Duleek, Co. Meath, passed away peacefully on June 24th, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and friends, in her 93rd year.

Predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Mary, her brother Patrick, and her nephews Thomas and Derek, Julia will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her nephew Nicholas and Madeleine; her grandnephews Shane, Joseph, and Patrick; her grandnieces Nicola and Georgina; her great-grandnephews and great-grandniece; as well as her neighbours, dear friends, and all her dedicated carers.

Reposing at F. Watson & Son Funeral Directors, Dyer Street, Drogheda (A92 W7EP) on Friday evening, June 26th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning, June 27th, at 11:00am in the Church of the Assumption, Tullyallen, followed by burial in the Old Saint Mary’s Abbey Cemetery, Duleek.
