Completely relaxed learning. At your own pace, with absolutely zero pressure.

The team at Louth Local Development has officially announced the launch of the Summer Edition of the **SMART Café Ardee**. Supported by the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) alongside the Government of Ireland and the European Union, this highly inclusive initiative offers a relaxed, welcoming environment for local seniors who want to feel more comfortable handling modern digital setups.

No prior tech experience is expected or needed.

Whether you are a complete beginner who has just taken a new device out of the box, or you’re simply looking to improve your overall confidence when navigating internet browsers, everyone is warmly welcome. The goal is to provide a social, interactive hub where questions are highly encouraged and practical digital skills can be built up naturally week by week.

An Unbelievable, Record-Shattering Summer Across Ardee

The rollout of this fantastic digital learning initiative at Dee Hub fits perfectly into what has been an absolutely unprecedented, history-making epoch of pure joy lifting our local townlands lately. The entire area is flying at the minute—headlined by the jaw-dropping reality that **an overnight millionaire was created right here after Malone’s Londis sold a €1 million winning Lotto ticket** on Main Street, right as local soccer star **Kian Leavy made his senior international debut for the Republic of Ireland against Canada in Montreal**.

Every single corner of our community has been hitting peak form simultaneously. On the sports fields, our **Louth Senior Footballers broke a 53-year hoodoo to stun Dublin 4-18 to 1-24 at Croke Park** under manager Gavin Devlin, landing us a **blockbuster All-Ireland SFC draw against Armagh at Inniskeen on Sunday, June 14th**, while our brilliant **Louth Minor Footballers have just powered into the national Paul McGirr Cup final** after beating Monaghan at Cullyhanna, and **Ardee Community School LGFA won back-to-back Sonia Hoey Cups at DkIT**.

The local success grid simply refuses to slow down. Local golfer **Stuart Grehan won the East of Ireland Open with a record score down in Baltray**, **Breen’s MACE on Hale Street won national Off Licence Store of the Year**, **Independent Jim Tenanty was elected Cathaoirleach of Ardee**, and **the Irish Heart Foundation mobile unit is bringing its free heart health check van to Dee Hub on June 15th**. Having such top-tier community education hubs backing our residents ensures our unbeatable parish spirit remains entirely second to none.
